Susan Jago

M.Env.Mgmt; B.Sc (Computing); MEIANZ; Certified Environmental Auditor, Australia; Certificate IV Training and Assessment

Susan specialises in management systems, software, training and auditing. She holds both a Bachelor of Computer Science and Masters in Environmental Management.

With her computer science background, Susan has developed the ability to systematically design, interpret and implement environmental management systems. Her key interest lies in implementing Intelex’s Performance Management System software, which offers an integrated environment, safety and quality management solution for our clients.

Susan is also an RABQSA-certified environmental auditor with national and international auditing experience. Working in the mining, transport and industrial sectors, she has been involved in many types of audits including performance audits, phase one audits, management systems audits and root cause analysis.

Susan has completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is an experienced trainer as well as an assessor for our Environmental Auditor Certification Workshop (EACW).

Susan gains satisfaction from imparting knowledge to others through environmental education. She has worked extensively with school groups, including conducting field excursions for the Coastal Environment Centre at Narrabeen, NSW, where she educated students on coastal processes and management. Susan has also assisted with the Water Is Life study at Hunter Wetlands Centre, NSW; been an active environmental educator at Ingleside Scout Camp; and participated in Sydney Water’s Streamwatch program. She can coordinate large groups, having worked in teams to manage groups of up to 180 on field excursions.

With her capacity for excellent communication and ability to work in a timely manner, Susan ensures positive, results-driven outcomes on all projects.
