The Environmental Auditor Certification Workshop is a comprehensive 5 day certified workshop which trains participants to conduct environmental audits, advise clients on environmental issues, and commission and manage environmental audits.

The Workshop is certified by RABQSA International, the principal certification body for Environmental Auditors in Australia, and provides the following accredited competency units for registration as an Environmental Auditor:

  • RABQSA-EM Environmental Management Systems
  • RABQSA-AU Management Systems Auditing
  • RABQSA-TL Leading Management Systems Audit Teams

The Workshop is also recognised by the Institute for Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA), the principal certification body for Environmental Auditors in the UK, as meeting the training requirement for IEMA certification to:

Arrangements for Day Two
Day Two  Workshop - Audit
Delegates will be divided into small groups and will conduct a practical audit on a chemical facility using the protocol provided and documentation presented by the trainer. A detailed examination of the site will be conducted using a site plan and colour slides taken during actual audits.
Day Three  Workshop cont.
Each of the small groups of delegates will prepare a detailed report on that part of the audit nominated by the trainer. The reports will include findings and recommendations developed by the trainees. Each group will present its audit findings and recommendations verbally, in the sequence of the protocol provided, so that the class builds up a composite picture of the environmental status of the site.
